The "Internet Access" element gives your virtual data center access to the public net (Internet).
An Introduction to Internet Access
To make a connection to the internet, you need to drop the "Internet Access" element into your virtual data center Workspace and connect it with one of your LAN elements. You can add as many internet connections as you would like to have in your virtual data center.
Servers that are connected to the internet automatically receive an IP Address from ProfitBricks DHCP. Please note: several servers will share a subnet if all are connected to the same internet connection.
In the "Member" settings you'll find all servers and load balancers that are currently connected to the internet, listed by network interface and virtual data center name.
Remove Internet Access
A right-click on the internet connection to be removed opens the Context Menu in the Workspace. Click "Remove" and the internet connection will be deleted. There is no additional confirmation needed to remove the internet connection, as a new internet interface can be easily created.
