Berlin, 05/17/2012 – The new hosting company ProfitBricks is starting up in Berlin. Their offer - "Infrastructure-as-a-Service" (IaaS) - is based on innovative ideas and technologies. Interested parties can currently apply to become beta testers, and will receive a starting credit of €500 for their participation, which they can use later in productive operation. The ProfitBricks founders and managing directors are two veterans from the hosting sector, Achim Weiss and Andreas Gauger. Both members of the dual-headed management team are ex-Board members of 1&1 Internet AG.
ProfitBricks GmbH's Infrastructure-as-a-Service offering is distinguished by a maximum amount of security, availability and flexibility - and all at an unbeatable budget price. The reason is that the company founders Weiß and Gauger know the users' needs in detail. "Our data centers are in Germany and are equipped with redundant systems, for which we guarantee failover". Users receive every conceivable configuration in a matter of minutes, regardless of whether they require one small server or an entire data center.
Using the latest technologies, ProfitBricks also offers a performance "the speed of which surpasses the performance achieved using regular technologies many times over", says Achim Weiss, a globally recognized expert in the development of massively scalable Internet infrastructures. A particular advantage for IaaS customers - this high-end performance is available at a budget price, as in the minute-by-minute billing system, customers only pay for what they actually use. Components that have been switched off are free of charge. Another technological innovation makes the offering stand out from the competition even further - using the "ProfitBricks Data Center Designer", users can configure and manage their own data center quickly and easily via a graphical user interface.
ProfitBricks is also setting new standards in the service area, where the company consistently adheres to three service rules. Andreas Gauger, former spokesperson for the Board of 1&1, explains the premises: "We employ only system administrators with years of practical experience in our support team. In addition, we only take on new customers if we can provide adequate support capacity. And last but not least, the support team sets the priorities for developing and maintaining our products".
Currently, interested parties can see for themselves the benefits of the ProfitBricks solutions - during the start phase, the company is looking for system administrators and developers who already support applications in the Internet and who will scrutinize the innovative IaaS offering as beta testers. These pioneer users will be rewarded with a starting credit of €500 for subsequent productive operation of the solutions. In addition, all approved beta testers will have the opportunity of discussing the product personally with the founders. "Our customers have the last word. And their needs and suggestions for improvement have top priority for us", explains Gauger. You can register for participation in the beta program on the company's website
